Trio of additions join women's squad
Young talent to boost Mariners' premiership tilt
Three talented players have joined the Mariners' W-League squad ahead of the upcoming season.
Midfielder Amy Jackson, defender Ally Green, and forward Tara Andrews have all put pen to paper on deals with the club, and will be looking to make an immediate impact.
Jackson is a 20-year-old who has represented Australia at Under-20 level. She is a skillful and creative player who can operate in a number of positions in midfield.
Green is a 21-year-old defender who has been capped by Australia at Under-17 and Under-20 level. She is a strong and athletic player who is good in the air and comfortable on the ball.
Andrews is a 19-year-old forward who has represented Australia at Under-17 level. She is a pacy and powerful player who is always a threat in front of goal.
The Mariners' W-League coach, Alen Stajcic, said he was delighted to have added the trio to his squad.
"They are all young and talented players who have the potential to make a big impact in the W-League," Stajcic said.
"I'm confident that they will all be valuable additions to our team and will help us to challenge for the premiership this season."
